If there's one thing you can say about Corinne Russell it's that she was extremely flexible!

The tone was set during Corinne’s school days, when she studied gymnastics and dance and even went on to become an instructor herself, teaching acrobatic and ballroom dancing, while specializing in Latin-American dance.

Corinne once spent six weeks in a Greek hotel displaying her own style of Terpsichore, while her dancing skills even led her to become a dancer on Top of the Pops. She was also a contortionist.

During her more mundane working career Corinne also worked as an office girl and a barmaid in a pub and it was while working as a barmaid that a fashion photographer eventually noticed her and her modelling career began.

Corinne went on to become one of the most popular Page 3 girls of the 80s, but her time in front of the lens led to her becoming a regular on the small screen too.

In 1983 Corinne became one of the famed "Hill's Angels" on The Benny Hill Show, appearing in a number of sketches and using her contortionist skills to maximum effect.

Miss Russell made a few film appearances too, most noticeably in Absolute Beginners and Highlander, while she was also chosen to dance in silhouette during the opening credits of the 1983 James Bond flick Octopussy.

Corinne went on to grace many print ads for swimsuits and lingerie and was also featured as a character in the video game "Vixen", released in 1988, and was in the AC/DC rock video "You Shook Me All Night Long."

She didn’t let go of her modelling roots though and along with former model Terri Fleeman-Hardwick, launched a model agency called Portfolio and released a video Beauty and the Bust, explaining how to keep yourself in shape.

As you can see, the regime certainly worked for Corinne, so there’s nothing left to do apart from sit back, relax and admire all her hard work.
