Team P3

OUR gorgeous Page 3 girls get together to spur on Team GB to even greater Olympic glory.

And with Britain’s most glamorous bodies draped through them, the Olympic rings have never looked so good.

The beauties will be glued to the Games as our sporting greats battle for gold, silver and bronze. And with this crowd cheering them on, who could fail to be inspired?

Here, each toned lovely reveals to ALEX PEAKE which athlete or team they’ll be cheering on at the Games.

KATIE, 28, from Liverpool, is throwing her support behind rower Tom James in the men’s coxless four.

She said: “He’s had to overcome injuries and heart problems since winning gold in Bejing so it would be amazing if he could defend his Olympic title in London.”

STACI, 22, from Preston, wants to see teenage diving star Tom Daley take home a well-deserved gold.

At just 18, Tom is already on his second Olympic Games.

Staci said: “He’s young and fit and hits the spot. Get gold and I will see you at the after party in Ibiza!”

KELLY, 21, from Daventry, Northants, is backing the Team GB women soccer stars, who are already off to a great start.

She said: “I really want the football teams to win at the Olympics, especially after we didn’t win at the Euros.

“Good luck to all our contestants – may the best women win.”

SABINE, 20, from London, wants to see Dai Greene triumph in the men’s 400m hurdles. He is the second fastest Brit ever in the event, after Kriss Akabusi.

She said: “My birth country of Latvia is not taking part in this, so I’ll be cheering on Brit Dai Greene, who deserves to win his first Olympic gold.”

SAM, 25, from Manchester, is dreaming of long-distance runner Mo Farah landing Olympic gold for the first time.

She said: “Mo is doing everything he can to win in what could be his last chance at a medal. He has even been sleeping under a noisy oxygen-reduced tent as part of his altitude training.”

POPPY, 21, from Somerset, believes Hannah England is medal material in the 1,500m track event. She took silver in the World Championships last year.

Poppy said: “She’s had an Achilles problem but is now running in to form.

“Hopefully the home crowd will power her on.”

LACEY, 19, from Bedford, is backing Tim Brabants to paddle his way to glory in the sprint kayaking.

She said: “This is his fourth Olympic Games and he’s looking good again.

“He has already won Olympic gold and two bronzes, so I know he has got what it takes to win.”

EMILY, 21, from Cheshire, reckons Jessica Ennis is on the cusp of glory in the heptathlon.

She said: “She’s gorgeous and come Saturday I think there will be a medal around her neck.

“She’s destined to be the nation’s sweetheart for years to come.”

AMII, 25, from Birmingham, hopes Phillips Idowu will leap to gold in the triple jump – after winning silver for Britain at the 2008 Beijing Games.

She said: “Phillips has had his injury worries and can be inconsistent.

“But he’s an entertainer and he gets the crowd involved. I love that.”

CHLOE, 22, from Leeds, wants to see Britain’s gorgeous beach volleyball girls Zara Dampney and Shauna Mullin claim gold. She said: “They have already won the hearts of Sun readers for promising to wear their skimpy bikinis in all weathers during the Games. Now let’s hope they can win some medals too.”

ROSIE, 20, from Middlesex, reckons Sir Chris Hoy will dominate the track sprint cycling at London 2012.

She said: “Who better to go for gold than a legend like Sir Chris?

“He’s got a proven track record and looks bound to cement his place in the history books.”

RHIAN, 25, from Manchester, threw her backing behind triathlete brothers Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.

She said: “These two northern lads have a great chance of getting gold and silver medals.

“Hopefully their brotherly love will spur them on to Olympic victory.”

HOLLIE, 22, from Manchester, said she was hoping boxer Savannah Marshall would be a knockout.

She said: “Savannah and the other Team GB boxing girls, Nicola Adams and Natasha Jonas, are strong fighters. If they pull out all the stops they stand a great chance of medal glory.”

DANNI, 25, from Coventry, reckons Victoria Pendleton will cycle to glory in the women’s sprint – one of three events she is taking part in.

She said: “Not only is Victoria beautiful, she is an awesome force on a bike. She is bound to grab medal glory and boost the whole of Britain.”

LUCY, 22, from Warwick, said she would be cheering on BMX ace Liam Phillips in his event.

She said: “Liam has worked hard to get into the Olympic team - he's been in the sport since the age of five!

"Hopefully he can put the pedal to the metal and triumph."

Good luck Team GB!
