The Page 3 girls and Mark Cavendish went to give our troops a boost at Tobacco Dock in East London as they provide security at the Olympics.

The girls - Lacey, Danni, Staci and Chloe, met up with ex-Page 3 girl Peta Todd and her partner, top cyclist Mark Cavendish at Tobacco Dock. The Dock is just around the corner from the Sun offices. They had a tour and met service personnel as part of a morale boosting visit and they went down a storm!

Around 2,000 soldiers are staying at Tobacco Dock on camp beds to help out at the London 2012 Olympics in nearby Stratford.

Lacey, Danni, Staci and Chloe signed pics and posed for photos with Peta and amazing cyclist, Mark Cavendish who competed in the Olympics road race, narrowly missing a medal at the beginning of the games. He later played table tennis with the soldiers.

Sgt Skeggs from the event security team at the Olympic Park said:

"I love road cycling and I actually do triathlons myself so I know what a tough sport it is. I was there on Saturday in The Mall at the finish line for the men's cycle road race and sat just six seats away from Mark's girlfriend Peta.

"We met her after the race and she thanked me and my fellow soldiers for coming along to support Mark in the race. It's so brilliant to meet someone you admire and respect so much in the sporting world."
